Cedartown was founded upon the acquisition of seven Bojangles in Northwest Georgia. The name “Cedartown” was derived from the location we purchased in Cedartown, GA.

Our growth continued with the acquisition of an additional seven Bojangles restaurants in Georgia and Tennessee.

We expanded further with the acquisition of another Bojangles location in Montgomery, Alabama.

We remodeled and reopened a Bojangles location in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, which had previously been closed.

Aaron serves as a board manager of Cedartown Foods, and is active in governance, strategy, acquisitions, and capital structure. Aaron is also a Managing Partner of Acta Capital, where he is responsible for investment analysis, execution, and sourcing. Prior to founding Acta in 2018, Aaron was Head of Restructuring at Anchorage Capital Group, a private equity and hedge fund manager. Aaron is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School.

Hal serves as a board manager of Cedartown Foods, and is active in governance, strategy, acquisitions, and capital structure. Hal is also a Managing Partner of Acta Capital, where he is responsible for investment analysis, execution, and sourcing. Prior to founding Acta in 2018, Hal was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Anchorage Capital Group, a private equity and hedge fund manager. Hal is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and a BAS in Engineering from the School of Engineering.

Kris serves as COO of Cedartown Foods and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company, including human resources, marketing, operations, facilities, and new store development. In addition, Kristina participates in all strategic decision-making. Kristina joined Cedartown after 22 years at Circle K, where she was Head of Restaurants, responsible for more than 200 QSRs and 10 brands across eight states. Kristina began her restaurant career working in a pizza parlor at age 14 and has nearly 30 years of industry experience. She has a BS in psychology from the University of Florida and is pursuing an MBA at Mississippi College with a concentration in finance.

Chris serves as Controller for Cedartown Foods and has direct responsibility for compiling and analyzing financial statements, coordinating the annual audit, preparing budgets, and overseeing accounts payable. Prior to Cedartown, Chris served as controller for Consolidated Restaurant Group, a private equity backed restaurant franchisee with over 75 units. Previously he held a variety of finance roles at restaurant companies, and began his career in the industry in operations, having the role of kitchen manager, general manager, and area manager. Chris has a BS in accounting from Liberty University.

Elliot serves as Bojangles Operating Partner and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all of Cedartown’s Bojangles restaurants. Prior to joining Cedartown, Elliot had 15 years of experience as an Area Manager and Regional Supervisor at several different brands including Wendy’s, McDonald’s, and Checkers. Elliot has a BA in business administration with a concentration in finance from Colorado Technical University.

David serves as Cedartown’s Facilities and Construction Director, with day-to-day responsibility for new developments, remodels, repairs and maintenance, and information technology. David is a 20-year industry veteran with prior experience as a director of construction at a Hardee’s franchisee as well as prior restaurant operating experience.

Amanda serves as Marketing Director and is responsible for all marketing efforts within the organization. In addition, Amanda is responsible for the management of all digital and delivery channels, and she assists with menu management. Amanda joined Cedartown after nine years at Circle K, where she was Marketing Director, and worked with 10 restaurant brands. Amanda is a graduate of Robert Morris University.
